SocialsCap does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything the app does stays entirely on your device.

What SocialsCap does

SocialsCap is a screen time management app for Android. It monitors how long social media apps are used each day and blocks them when a daily time limit is reached. All of this happens locally on the device — no data is sent anywhere.

Data collection

SocialsCap collects no personal data. Specifically:

No name, email address, or account information
No location data
No usage statistics sent to any server
No analytics or crash reporting tools
No advertising identifiers
No browsing history or web activity
No messages, keystrokes, or screen content

Permissions used

SocialsCap requires four Android permissions to function. Each is used solely for the purpose described below:

Usage Access — measures how long each monitored app has been open today. Used only to track progress against the daily time limit.
Display over other apps — shows the block screen on top of a monitored app when the daily limit is reached.
Accessibility Service — detects which app is currently in the foreground so that blocking is instant the moment a monitored app is opened. No screen content, keystrokes, or personal data is read.
Device Administrator — prevents SocialsCap from being uninstalled without the user's PIN, ensuring limits cannot be bypassed by simply removing the app.

None of these permissions are used to collect, transmit, or share data.

Data storage

All app data — daily usage counters, time limits, PIN (stored as a hash), settings — is stored locally on the device using Android's standard shared preferences storage. This data never leaves the device.

Third-party services

SocialsCap uses Google Play Billing to process the optional one-time premium upgrade. This transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. SocialsCap does not receive or store any payment information. Google's privacy policy applies to the billing transaction: policies.google.com/privacy.

No other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools are used.

Children

SocialsCap is designed for use by adults, including parents who install it on a child's device to manage screen time. The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Internet access

SocialsCap does not require an internet connection to function. Time limits and blocking work entirely offline. The only network activity is the optional in-app purchase via Google Play Billing.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.

Wat SocialsCap doet

SocialsCap is een schermtijdbeheer-app voor Android. De app houdt bij hoe lang sociale media-apps per dag worden gebruikt en blokkeert ze wanneer een dagelijks tijdslimiet is bereikt. Dit alles gebeurt lokaal op het apparaat — er wordt geen data verzonden.

Gegevensverzameling

SocialsCap verzamelt geen persoonsgegevens. Concreet:

Geen naam, e-mailadres of accountinformatie
Geen locatiegegevens
Geen gebruiksstatistieken verstuurd naar een server
Geen analyse- of crashrapportagetools
Geen reclame-identifiers
Geen browsergeschiedenis of webactiviteit
Geen berichten, toetsaanslagen of scherminhoud

Gebruikte rechten

SocialsCap heeft vier Android-rechten nodig om te functioneren. Elk recht wordt uitsluitend gebruikt voor het hieronder beschreven doel:

Gebruikstoegang — meet hoe lang elke bewaakte app vandaag open is geweest. Alleen gebruikt om voortgang bij te houden ten opzichte van het dagelijkse tijdslimiet.
Weergave over andere apps — toont het blokkeerscherm bovenop een bewaakte app zodra het daglimiet is bereikt.
Toegankelijkheidsservice — detecteert welke app momenteel op de voorgrond staat zodat blokkering direct ingaat zodra een bewaakte app wordt geopend. Er wordt geen scherminhoud, toetsaanslagen of persoonlijke data gelezen.
Apparaatbeheerder — voorkomt dat SocialsCap wordt verwijderd zonder de pincode van de gebruiker, zodat limieten niet kunnen worden omzeild door de app simpelweg te verwijderen.

Geen van deze rechten wordt gebruikt om data te verzamelen, te verzenden of te delen.

Gegevensopslag

Alle app-data — dagelijkse gebruikstellers, tijdslimieten, pincode (opgeslagen als hash), instellingen — wordt lokaal opgeslagen op het apparaat via de standaard Android shared preferences opslag. Deze data verlaat het apparaat nooit.

Diensten van derden

SocialsCap gebruikt Google Play Billing voor de optionele eenmalige premium-upgrade. Deze transactie wordt volledig afgehandeld door Google Play. SocialsCap ontvangt of bewaart geen betalingsinformatie. Het privacybeleid van Google is van toepassing op de betalingstransactie: policies.google.com/privacy.

Er worden geen andere diensten van derden, SDK's of analysetools gebruikt.

Kinderen

SocialsCap is ontworpen voor gebruik door volwassenen, inclusief ouders die de app op het apparaat van een kind installeren om schermtijd te beheren. De app verzamelt bewust geen gegevens van wie dan ook, inclusief kinderen.

Internettoegang

SocialsCap heeft geen internetverbinding nodig om te functioneren. Tijdslimieten en blokkering werken volledig offline. De enige netwerkactiviteit is de optionele in-app aankoop via Google Play Billing.

Wijzigingen in dit beleid

Als dit privacybeleid wijzigt, wordt de bijgewerkte versie gepubliceerd op dit URL. De datum bovenaan deze pagina geeft aan wanneer het voor het laatst is bijgewerkt.
